1962 Lincoln Continental Convertible
Produced on October 11, 1961 at the Wixom, Michigan Lincoln plant, this is one of just 3,212 1962 Continental Convertible Sedans produced. In the rare paint code "X" - Black Cherry - with trim code 84 - beige leather interior. The leather, real mahogany wood inserts and trim are all in excellent original condition. After 51 years, this car is still stunning. This car had a factory price of $6,720 in 1962 - equivalent to nearly $52,000 today. One owner for many years (his name is still on the dash plate). Current owner for over 15 years. Always garaged. No signs of accidents or abuse. Car had one repaint in correct original color some years ago and a tan Haartz cloth convertible top with maroon piping installed (as opposed to the original vinyl top.)
